Allures Horizon 47: A New Vision for Long-Distance Cruising

The Allures Horizon 47 presents a compelling vision for modern long-distance cruising, blending robust construction with a focus on comfort and connection to the sea. This yacht is designed for sailors who demand both performance and a high quality of life on board.

Built for Adventure

The yacht’s aluminum hull is a clear statement of its purpose: to provide a durable and shock-resistant shield for offshore adventures. This robust construction allows for confident navigation in challenging conditions, without sacrificing performance. The aluminum hull is paired with a lighter composite deck, creating a balance between strength, stability, and sailing efficiency. With a sail area of 100 m2 and a displacement of 15 tons, the Allures Horizon 47 promises solid performance.

Unrestricted Exploration

As a full lifting keel yacht, the Allures Horizon 47 offers unparalleled freedom of navigation. With the keel raised, the draft reduces to 1.20 meters, granting access to shallow waters, lagoons, and secluded anchorages. When lowered to 3.10 meters, the keel ensures excellent course keeping and reassuring stability in open waters. The modern hull design, by Olivier Racoupeau, delivers smooth and balanced performance, even when surfing waves under autopilot, thanks to the precise control provided by the twin rudders.

Safety and Flow

Safety is paramount in the design of the deck. A continuous, 40 cm high bulwark from the mast to the cockpit ensures secure movement around the boat, while maintaining a fluid, single-level circulation. Lowered side decks and generous windows offer unobstructed views of the surroundings, a choice that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The cockpit, protected by coamings, a rigid dodger, and a hardtop, creates a sheltered haven. All maneuvers are centralized at the helm stations, freeing up the central space for onboard living. The large, two-part table allows easy access to the helms, side decks, and aft platform, without any obstacles.

A Light-Filled Interior

The interior of the Horizon 47 breaks away from the traditional dark and enclosed spaces often found in offshore yachts. High windows and the design of the side decks allow ample light to flood the saloon, offering panoramic views rarely found in a boat of this size. Whether seated in the saloon or at the chart table, the view remains constantly connected to the outside world, creating a feeling of being in a deck saloon.

The layout has been completely redesigned around a central island, which structures the space and facilitates movement at sea. The saloon becomes a true living area, the galley is a central and convivial space, and the double-seated chart table transforms into a desk or relaxation area. The entire space feels open and functional.

Warm and Customizable Design

The interior, designed by Isabelle Racoupeau, features a soft and enveloping design. Rounded shapes, woodwork that extends to the roof, and carefully selected materials create a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. Thick upholstery, generous fabrics, natural leathers, and carefully designed lighting create a soothing ambiance, day and night.

Each Horizon 47 can be customized in every detail, from the color of the woodwork and fabrics to the hull color, reflecting the personality of its owners and their way of traveling.

A Constant Connection to the Sea

At the stern, the folding platform transforms the boat at anchor. When deployed, it reveals a modular space close to the water, where sunbeds can be set up sheltered from the wind. This area naturally becomes the center of nautical activities, facilitated by large storage volumes accessible from the cockpit, capable of accommodating paddleboards, diving equipment, or recreational gear.

A Yacht for the Future

Easy to handle with a small crew, capable of achieving impressive daily averages, and built to last, the Allures Horizon 47 embodies a modern vision of long-distance cruising: demanding yet accessible, protective without being restrictive. True to its spirit of innovation, Allures Yachting is already working on a lifting keel version, currently under study, which will expand the range and offer an additional alternative to the full lifting keel.

With the Horizon 47, long-distance cruising is no longer just about covering miles. It becomes a way of living on the boat, staying connected to the world, and viewing each voyage as an experience to be lived to the fullest, without compromise.
