Cannes Yachting Festival: Heading for the 2025 edition

Cannes Yachting Festival 2024: A Showcase of Innovation and Excellence

The 2024 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival promises to be an exceptional event, building on the success of the previous year which drew 55,000 visitors from around the globe. This year, over 600 exhibitors will present 700 boats ranging from 5 to 50 meters, spread across the Vieux Port and Port Canto. Attendees can explore a diverse array of vessels, including sailboats, motor yachts (both rigid and semi-rigid), monohulls, multihulls, and the latest electric and hybrid models. A wide selection of equipment, engines, and services will also be on display.

This year’s festival will highlight key market trends through:

  • The Innovation Route: This initiative identifies and promotes the most promising innovations in the nautical industry. Focusing on eco-design, alternative motorizations, innovative materials, and connected services, the most forward-thinking projects will be showcased with dedicated communication and signage.
  • Optimized Sectorization: The layout is designed to enhance the visitor experience by clearly organizing each category of boats and related equipment.

The visitor layout introduced last year has been refined for this edition. The Vieux Port will continue to host motor yachts from 12 to 45 meters, while Port Canto will be divided into three distinct areas: the Sailing Area, featuring 120 new units over 10 meters; the “Power Boat Marina,” dedicated to motorboats up to 12 meters; and the “Yacht Brokerage & Toys” sector. Visitors can seamlessly navigate the entirety of Port Canto.

“For this new edition, our mission remains unchanged: to offer the industry an exceptional setting to present its new products, meet its customers, and launch the season. The longevity of our offering, the quality of our visitors, and the commitment of our exhibitors are the foundations of our success. Faced with current economic and geopolitical challenges, the Cannes Yachting Festival continues to support the sector and promote its excellence. Furthermore, as every year, we will redouble our efforts to offer the most exceptional visitor experience possible, including a new layout of the main entrances of the Vieux Port and Port Canto and a reinforced maritime shuttle service,”

said Sylvie Ernoult, Director of the Cannes Yachting Festival.

A strategic shift was announced earlier this year with the appointment of Constance Brément as Deputy Director. She will support Sylvie Ernoult, who will gradually pass on the reins before her retirement, ensuring a smooth transition and the continued growth of Europe’s leading in-water boat show.
