Did you know? Aston Martin also designed a boat…
Aston Martin’s AM37: A Luxurious Day Cruiser Blending Performance and Elegance
Born from a collaboration between Aston Martin and Quintessence Yachts, the AM37 is a 37-foot (approximately 11.3 meters) day cruiser designed to combine luxury and sportiness. Available in two versions, it offers respectable performance with a top speed estimated at 45 knots for the AM37 and up to 50 knots for the AM37S, powered by two 520 horsepower Mercury petrol engines each.
A Design True to Aston Martin’s DNA
The AM37 incorporates the aesthetic codes that have made the British brand famous. Its wraparound windshield, designed from a single piece of sculpted glass, illustrates this attention to detail. The cockpit is inspired by the brand’s cars, with a carbon fiber dashboard, a leather steering wheel, and polished metal controls. The entire environment is reminiscent of the exclusivity and refinement inherent in Aston Martin.
Innovation doesn’t stop there. The boat has a sliding deck in three carbon panels that completely covers the cockpit with the touch of a button. A carbon fiber bimini top, retractable under the engine hatch, and a swim platform at the rear complete this high-end layout.
Luxury and Comfort Onboard
Designed to be a true living space, the AM37 can be transformed into a cabin for the night thanks to a table that converts into a bed. The cabin is equipped with mood lighting, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee machine. A toilet is also integrated to ensure optimal comfort.
The rear seats, which can accommodate up to eight people, are upholstered in the finest leathers, further highlighting the craftsmanship inherited from the automotive world.
With the AM37, Aston Martin has proven that its expertise is not limited to roads. By integrating its DNA into the world of boating, the British brand has created a boat with a bold design, blending elegance, innovation, and performance. An exceptional object for lovers of fine mechanics, whether on land… or on water.
