The Ferretti Yachts 800, unveiled at Boot Düsseldorf and launched in Cattolica last July, marks the culmination of a renewal cycle that began in 2018. This new model, a collaborative effort between the Strategic Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group’s engineering department, embodies the ambition to blend functional architecture with Italian refinement. Its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival drew attention from both enthusiasts and professionals, thanks to its fluid design and innovative layouts.
Fluid and Assertive Aesthetics
Designed by architect Filippo Salvetti, the exterior balances modernity and heritage. The flybridge lines gently slope towards the stern, breaking with the traditional symmetry of the hull. This choice gives the 800 a dynamic and contemporary look, without sacrificing the visual sobriety that characterizes the range. Large windows extend perspectives and open views to the horizon, while bathing the interiors in natural light.
Interiors Designed for Fluidity and Serenity
The interior layout, by Ideaeitalia, prioritizes fluid circulation and separation of spaces to ensure true privacy on board. On the main deck, the salon enjoys panoramic views through spectacular glazing. The furniture, simple and elegant, comes in two styles: Classic, warm and inspired by earth tones, or Contemporary, brighter, evoking the reflections of the sea.
The dining room can accommodate eight guests in a light-filled space, adjacent to an independent kitchen connected by a sliding partition. The architects paid particular attention to flows: crew members can access the kitchen and cockpit from the outside, without interfering with guests, a rare configuration on a yacht of this size.
A Generous and Modular Exterior Space
At the rear, the 7 m2 beach area naturally extends the 15 m2 glazed cockpit, transforming the stern into a true relaxation area. At the front, a 14 m2 area accommodates a sunbath and a C-shaped sofa, ideal for enjoying navigation or a peaceful anchorage.
The flybridge, with an area of 40 m2, illustrates the philosophy of the model: optimizing every square meter without compromising comfort. To starboard, a dining area complements a port-side bar and a large modular area at the rear, furnished with freestanding elements by Talenti. The cockpit, located at the front, benefits from remarkable visibility.
Performance and Motorization
Beneath the hull’s elegant lines, two MAN V12 engines are available: 1,550 horsepower in the standard version for a cruising speed of 15 knots, and 1,800 horsepower in the Performance configuration, capable of reaching 31 knots at top speed. The yacht is also available with a shortened rear platform to comply with French regulations limiting ships to 24 meters.

With this model, the Italian shipyard does not seek to revolutionize codes, but to refine the experience. The optimization of volumes, the search for privacy, the fluidity of circulation and the quality of the design make it a yacht designed to sail for a long time, in comfort and discretion.
