Four Seasons Yachts Redefines Luxury Sea Travel with Innovative Marina Concept
Four Seasons Yachts is not just adding another ship to the high-end yachting landscape. With Four Seasons I, the brand is pioneering a floating living space equipped with an unprecedented feature: a transverse marina that opens on both sides of the yacht, placing travelers directly at water level. Conceived as a gateway to the sea, this innovation transforms the relationship between the ship, its guests, and the marine environment.
This vast, modular platform can be transformed into a lounge, a waterfront bar, a relaxation area, or a starting point for exploring the most secluded coves along the route.
A Design That Changes Yachting Codes
Unlike traditional marinas located at the stern, the space designed for Four Seasons I literally traverses the ship. Two retractable platforms on the port and starboard sides, an interior lounge open to the sea, and an exterior extension with a seawater pool form an ensemble that can reach over 676 m2.
The result: smoother access to the water, improved stability, and above all, a panoramic view of the environment.
Inside, the studio Tillberg Design of Sweden has created a decor inspired by Mediterranean terraces: clean lines, light colors, and a permanent connection to the outside. An aesthetic that extends the philosophy of the yacht’s residential suites.
Days Entirely Designed Around the Sea
The "Marina Days," planned on the majority of itineraries in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, are designed as true breaks in navigation. Without setting sail, the ship becomes a privileged anchorage point for experiencing the sea differently.
The program includes:
- Waterfront yoga sessions, fresh smoothies, and relaxation moments at sunrise.
- Afternoons transformed into a floating social lounge, where cocktails and mixological creations are enjoyed facing the coastal landscapes.
- Various nautical activities – electric hydrofoils, water bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, pedalboards – for those who wish to explore the bay at their own pace.
- A seawater pool integrated into the deck, to enjoy the ocean from the platform itself.
This diversity allows the yacht to offer what contemporary travelers are looking for: an immersive but customizable experience, between sporting activity, contemplation, and the art of living.
Exploring the Coasts Differently: The Grand Touring Experience
To extend this relationship with the sea, Four Seasons Yachts introduces the Grand Touring Experience, a concept of private excursions available during stopovers.
Two specific boats have been designed:
- The Limo Tender: A 10-meter boat designed as an aquatic limousine, with dedicated crew and personalized service. The objective: to discover a coast, reach a village, or plan a romantic outing with the same fluidity as from a luxury hotel.
- The Beachlander: A speedboat for travelers in search of adventure: discreet beaches, exclusive clubs, reefs for snorkeling, or exploration of coves accessible only by sea.
These two experiences reinforce the yacht’s promise: to transform each trip into a privileged moment, rather than a simple transfer.
A Yacht Designed to Mark the History of Luxury
The Four Seasons I is not limited to its marina. In addition to an architecture signed by Fincantieri, it will notably house a spectacular suite of nearly 930 m2 with curved glass walls, the largest realization of its kind at sea.
The whole is part of a vision: to create a new category of travel, between exceptional cruise, hotel stay, and private exploration.
The yacht will inaugurate its first itineraries in 2026, before the arrival of a second ship in 2027.
With its transverse marina and its approach focused on experience as much as on design, Four Seasons Yachts is not only seeking to seduce lovers of great luxury: the brand is reinventing the way to experience the sea. Gentle exploration, water sports, refined relaxation, gastronomy with your feet in the water… The yacht promises a new form of travel, where each stopover becomes a scene and where the sea is no longer a backdrop, but the heart of the experience.
