Horizon Yachts Sets Sights on European Market at Düsseldorf Boat Show
Horizon Yachts is making a significant push into the European market, showcasing a range of yachts at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, an event that draws over 200,000 visitors from 120 countries annually. The Taiwanese builder aims to capitalize on a successful autumn season and meet the strong demand for yachts ready for immediate delivery, configured to meet the specific expectations of European buyers.
FD80 Skyline: A Striking Entrance into the European Market
The FD80 Skyline Hull 15 marks a pivotal moment for Horizon in Europe. As the first FD80 destined for the continent, this yacht immediately stands out with its anthracite radar mast, a bold visual signature that accentuates the Skyline profile. The interior design embraces a contemporary aesthetic, featuring bleached teak, brushed “gunmetal” accents, and expansive windows that create a bright and serene atmosphere. The main salon opens seamlessly to the sea thanks to full-height windows.
Designed as a true living space, the open kitchen revolves around a central island with seating, fostering interaction onboard. The layout includes four ensuite cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, boasting a level of finish directly inspired by the FD90, complete with double vanities. The lower deck houses two VIP cabins and a convertible twin cabin forward.
FD100 Tri-Deck: Horizon’s Vision of Grand Cruising
With the FD100 Tri-Deck Hull 12, Horizon presents its first FD100 built to RINA pleasure craft classification for Europe in Düsseldorf. This unit embodies the shipyard’s vision for high-end, long-range cruising: generous volumes, seamless circulation, and spaces designed for extended living onboard.
The layout features five ensuite cabins, including a master suite on the main deck, crew quarters positioned forward, and a spacious full-beam skylounge. The interior blends European oak Cadorin flooring, tinted woodwork, and Minotti furniture, including a large Alexander L-shaped sofa and Jensen armchairs. The formal dining room, centered around a 10-seater table, can be separated from the kitchen by a motorized Mikado quartz partition.
Externally, the upper Tri-Deck stands out for its modularity, with movable furniture allowing for various configurations, while the aft bridge deck connects directly to an enclosed skylounge equipped with a bar and an 85-inch screen.
V74 Evo: A Glimpse into the Next Generation
Alongside the available models, Horizon is unveiling the V74 Evo Hull 15, a direct evolution of the V68, of which 14 units are already sailing. Longer, more refined, and reworked in its exterior volumes, this new model has been designed to meet the specific expectations of European boaters, both in terms of circulation and finishes.
Currently under construction, the V74 Evo is scheduled for completion in June, with a first appearance planned at the Mediterranean In-Water Yacht Show. The Horizon teams will use boot Düsseldorf to detail the philosophy, technical choices, and customization possibilities.
With this selection of immediately available yachts and next-generation projects, Horizon confirms its commitment to establishing a lasting presence in the European market by offering well-developed, visible, and tangible units at a key moment in the purchasing calendar.
