Watersprint Acquires Acuva Technologies’ Assets
Lund, Sweden, January 14, 2025 – Watersprint AB, a leading company in advanced UVC LED technology for water purification, has acquired all assets from Acuva Technologies, including intellectual property, following Acuva’s bankruptcy. Acuva Technologies, a Canadian company known for its patented IntenseBeam™ technology, is globally recognized for its energy-efficient and advanced water purification systems based on UVC LED.
“This acquisition strengthens Watersprint’s position in the global water purification market. By integrating Acuva’s technology into our portfolio, we are better equipped to meet our customers’ diverse needs, both in the Point of Entry market and OEM applications in industries such as bottle filling, water dispensers, RVs, and boats,” says André Carlsson, CEO of Watersprint.

Watersprint aims to take good care of Acuva’s customers and is committed to creating a smooth transition. The goal is to continue production and delivery of the requested products.
