Maxim Yachts Bets on Speed and Innovation to Shine at Boot Düsseldorf 2026

Maxim Yachts Makes a Splashy Return at Boot Düsseldorf 2026

Maxim Yachts is set to make a grand return to the international stage at Boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest boat show, scheduled for January 17-25, 2026. The Spanish shipyard is banking on its flagship model, the Max 44R, touted as the fastest walkaround the brand has ever produced.

With its sleek silhouette and a trio of Yamaha XTO 450 hp engines, the Max 44R boasts an impressive top speed of 60 knots, clearly targeting enthusiasts of sporty boating. Designed to offer an intense experience for both the driver and guests, the 44R combines contemporary design, meticulous construction, and high-speed stability. This blend is tailored to appeal to a European audience keen on high-performance daycruisers.

A Walkaround Designed for Onboard Living

Beyond performance, the Max 44R emphasizes hospitality. The fully open deck is organized around two large sunbeds, a modular dining area that can accommodate over ten guests, and a carbon hard-top integrating eight JL Audio speakers. At the helm, the console features four passenger seats, two 16-inch Garmin screens, and eleven analog gauges for precise navigation parameter readings.

The onboard equipment is designed to be adaptable. The outdoor kitchen includes a cooking surface, a sink, and two standard refrigerators, expandable to four, with the option to add an ice maker. Below deck, the layout features two double cabins, one of which can be converted into a saloon, with the possibility of integrating a third cabin to meet the owner’s needs.

While the model showcased in Düsseldorf will be powered by Yamaha, the shipyard also offers an alternative: three Mercury Verado V10 engines of approximately 400 hp each can equip the 44R, an option favored in certain markets.

A Strategic Presence at the Heart of the European Market

For Maxim Yachts, the event represents more than just an exhibition; it’s a visibility accelerator for an international audience. The 44R, designed by Alex Cherigny, embodies the shipyard’s ambitions: assertive performance, understated elegance, and a desire to innovate in a highly competitive segment. The manufacturer will also take advantage of the show to unveil its next model exclusively, presented during an event organized in Hall 5, stand E19.

With this reinforced presence, Maxim Yachts confirms its intention to establish itself permanently in the European high-end daycruiser market.
