Monaco Yacht Show 2025: A Glimpse into the Future of Superyachting
The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is gearing up for its 2025 edition, promising an unparalleled display of luxury, innovation, and a growing commitment to sustainability. From September 24th to 27th, Port Hercule will host an impressive fleet of 120 superyachts, with nearly half making their world debut. This record number solidifies the MYS’s position as the premier global showcase for the superyachting industry.
A Showcase of Unprecedented Innovation
The yachts on display, ranging from 24 to over 110 meters, represent the pinnacle of innovation. Expect to see bold designs, extreme personalization, and meticulously crafted comfort. Complementing this impressive fleet will be approximately 60 luxury tenders, technological marvels that combine speed, elegance, and practicality. These tenders reflect the evolving demands of a discerning clientele seeking exceptional nautical experiences.
Blue Wake: Sustainability Takes Center Stage
The 34th edition of the MYS places a strong emphasis on sustainability through the Blue Wake™ program, conducted in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation. This initiative highlights 59 exhibitors selected for their commitment to sustainable practices. The goal is to showcase readily available and measurable solutions for yacht construction, maintenance, and operation.
A key feature is an interactive map, accessible on the MYS website and app, that identifies exhibitors with the Blue Wake™ logo. This simplifies the search for sustainable innovations for owners and industry professionals. The Grand Opening Night will feature the inaugural Blue Wake Awards on Tuesday, September 23rd, recognizing the most promising solutions for accelerating the ecological transition of the yachting sector.
A Strategic Hub for the Global Yachting Market
Beyond the dazzling display of yachts, the MYS offers a unique strategic opportunity for buyers, investors, and shipyards. The show brings together the core of the global market in one location, saving visitors valuable time by allowing them to identify, compare, and explore yachts that meet their specific needs, without extensive international travel.
Building on the momentum of a growing market, the 2025 edition anticipates continued demand for custom-built and technologically advanced yachts. Following a fleet valued at €4.5 billion in 2024, expectations are high for this year, which is already shaping up to be exceptional in terms of value and diversity.
Key Trends: Design, Sustainability, and Personalization
The MYS 2025 reflects the evolving standards of maritime luxury. The new yachts on display go beyond mere size, embodying a renewed vision of comfort at sea. They integrate the most advanced technologies in propulsion, energy efficiency, and connectivity. Interior spaces showcase a high degree of personalization, catering to the specific needs of future owners or charter clients.
“Gathering such a high-quality fleet each year is a challenge that only the Monaco Yacht Show can consistently overcome,” says Gaëlle Tallarida, General Director of the MYS.
This pursuit of excellence is evident in the diversity of the yachts, including new builds, prestigious refits, and benchmark models available for sale or charter.
The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 will take place from Wednesday, September 24th to Saturday, September 27th, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (6:00 PM on Saturday). The Principality is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors, reaffirming its central role in the global yachting calendar.
