Neo Sailing Technologies (NST) is venturing into the world of audio with its new podcast, “Navigating Towards a Desirable Future.” The company, based in the Médoc region, offers a deep dive into its world through a series of interviews with those who are actively working to transform the nautical industry. Conceived as a technical and human logbook, the program is hosted by journalist Olivia Maincent and explores the choices, doubts, and convictions of the NST team.
Each episode sheds light on one of NST’s three pillars: Racing, Lab, and Academy, whether it’s offshore racing, materials research, or youth training. These three closely linked areas embody the desire to evolve the sector without sacrificing either performance or responsibility.
Quentin Vlamynck Opens the Series with a Two-Sided Testimony
The first episode features Quentin Vlamynck, both a high-level skipper and technical director of NST. Known for his victory in the 2023 Transat Jacques Vabre in Ocean Fifty, the sailor takes on a more intimate and engaged tone in this format. He reflects on his journey, his dual role, and the significant choices made by the company to move towards a more sustainable construction of racing boats.
