Nice Set to Become Global Hub for Sustainable Boating with “Nice Boating Tomorrow”
Nice is poised to establish itself as the world’s leading reference point for sustainable boating with the launch of “Nice Boating Tomorrow.” This ambitious event, conceived as a dual affair, will combine a four-day international boat show with a two-day International Forum (March 19th and 20th). The event will take place at the brand new OcéaNice convention center, initially delivered for the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC). The clear objective is to spotlight innovations, exemplary initiatives, and ongoing transitions within the maritime world, solidifying Nice’s position at the forefront of nautical sustainability.
A Forward-Looking Program
Addressing environmental challenges and the profound shifts within the sector, Nice Boating Tomorrow aims to lay the foundation for a new nautical ecosystem: one that is more responsible, technologically advanced, and accessible. The Forum will host conferences, workshops, and roundtables led by international speakers, focusing on key themes:
- The environmental impact of recreational boating and new regulations.
- Offshore racing as an innovation laboratory.
- The energies and motorizations of the future.
- New economic models for recreational boating.
- Ports serving decarbonized boating.
- Sustainable construction and artificial intelligence for maritime uses.
Distinguished guests will enrich the discussions, while networking opportunities will foster BtoB exchanges between professionals, communities, and investors.
Nice: A Mediterranean Showcase for Responsible Boating
Anchored between the sea and innovation, Nice is an ideal host city. The OcéaNice center, a true technological showcase, will provide an exceptional setting: a panoramic rooftop of 1,300 m2, a maritime esplanade, and an exhibition quay for boats. This will give the event both an inspiring and practical dimension.
Grand Pavois Organisation: The Driving Force
Behind this project is Grand Pavois Organisation (GPO), a historical player in the nautical world for over 50 years, and the originator of the renowned Grand Pavois La Rochelle and numerous international shows. With Nice Boating Tomorrow, GPO continues its mission: to support the transition of the global boating industry and provide a platform for meetings and exchanges that meet current environmental and technological challenges.
In March 2026, Nice will become the convergence point for all those who want to navigate differently, sustainably, intelligently, and resolutely focused on the future.
