Pershing GTX70: A concentration of power and refinement unveiled in Venice

Pershing GTX70: A World Premiere of Innovation

The Pershing GTX70 was unveiled to the public at the prestigious Venice Boat Show on May 29th. As the third model in the GTX range, it celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Italian brand. Built in Fano and completed in Mondolfo in a unit specifically dedicated to this line, this 21.88-meter long and 5.42-meter wide yacht combines design, technology, and naval engineering from the Ferretti Group.

Born from a collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee (led by Piero Ferrari), Vallicelli Design, and the Ferretti engineering department, the GTX70 embodies the “Sport Utility Yacht” spirit: a boat with a strong style, designed to offer maximum comfort and functionality. Its hull was manufactured in the group’s Plug and Mould unit, ensuring a high level of precision and craftsmanship.

A Compact Yacht with Impressive Volumes

What immediately strikes you aboard the Pershing GTX70 is its ability to offer unprecedented habitability in such a contained format. It has two decks and a sportbridge, with three luxurious cabins, each with its own private bathroom, accommodating up to six guests. The lower deck, dedicated to privacy, has been designed to ensure perfect intimacy.

Externally, the design remains true to Pershing’s DNA: taut lines, a vertical bow, and a slightly convex deck. The aft beach, a real highlight, reaches 23 m2 thanks to side bulwarks that open to form two terraces. An integrated sunbed is available as an option. The bathing platform is equipped with the Dual Linear Lift system, capable of aligning with the beach or launching a jet ski or a Williams 3.25 tender.

On the main deck, the spaces are fluid, open, and designed for conviviality: a large C-shaped sofa, a welcoming table, and a kitchen connected to both the living room and the cockpit thanks to a retractable glass wall. The widebody living room, with its two facing L-shaped sofas, bathes in an elegant atmosphere thanks to a subtle play of LED lights and a refined selection of materials.

The 16 m2 sportbridge, divided into three zones (sunbathing area, dining area, and cockpit), can optionally accommodate an electric bimini top with pre-impregnated carbon arches, reinforcing the sporty and sophisticated dimension of the model.

Performance and Safety at the Heart of the Design

True to the brand’s reputation, the GTX70 is a yacht with assertive performance. Its three 900-horsepower VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1200 engines allow it to reach a maximum speed of 35 knots and maintain a cruising speed of 30 knots (preliminary figures). It is CE Class A certified, the highest level of safety for yachts under 24 meters.

This yacht embodies a balance between power, comfort, aesthetics, and functionality. It is aimed at customers seeking active navigation without compromising on onboard services.

A key player in promoting the GTX70, ABYS Yachting confirms its position as a reference in the prestige yachting sector. For any requests for information or visits, the teams at ABYS Yachting are available to assist enthusiasts towards this new icon of the sea.
