Sea Loft 480: Jeanneau reinvents island cruising

Jeanneau Unveils the Sea Loft 480: A New Philosophy for Accessible Cruising

Jeanneau has naturally integrated the Sea Loft into its brand, reinforcing its commitment to an accessible, human-centered, and experience-driven approach. The Sea Loft 480 expands this vision, offering a freer, more inclusive, and share-focused boating experience. According to Antoine Chancelier, Jeanneau’s Commercial Director, “This model embodies a new form of yachting, more serene and experience-oriented.” The Sea Loft is designed not only for seasoned sailors but for anyone seeking a different way to enjoy the sea, without constraints and with a desire to slow down.

A Floating Villa for Effortless Vacations

The Sea Loft 480 is envisioned as a “villa on the water,” simplifying and streamlining the vacation experience. Its living spaces are designed to encourage shared moments: an outdoor kitchen for collaborative meal preparation, deployable terraces for expanded relaxation areas, a protective bimini for shaded reading, and wide aft platforms for direct access to the turquoise sea. On board, every moment becomes a memory, every action a shared experience. Children can safely enjoy the forward area, while adults relax or socialize in the aft section.

A Sensory and Sustainable Experience

Beyond its comfort, the Sea Loft 480 delivers a genuine sensory experience. The pace slows upon boarding: the silence of electric navigation, the boat’s stability, and the natural light flooding the interiors promote disconnection. The sea is experienced differently, with respect for the environment and without stress. With an electric range of 15 nautical miles at 7 knots, enhanced by 4.2 kW solar panels, the boat ensures peaceful and responsible cruising. The hybrid version extends the range to 250 nautical miles, offering greater freedom for island hopping.

The Sea Loft 480 makes no compromises. Couples, families, or friends can each find their own space at their own pace.

Some may choose to cook, others to swim, or to converse while gazing at the horizon. The modular layout allows for fluid movement, where privacy and conviviality coexist harmoniously. This makes it a universal boat, designed to bring people together around a shared passion: enjoying the sea in its most serene and accessible form.
