3D Marine and Suzuki Partner on New Boat Model
A collaboration between 3D Marine and Suzuki has resulted in a new boat model designed for both stability and performance. The partnership aims to provide boaters with a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.
The Hull
The hull, crafted by 3D Marine, features a composite fiber construction with a V-shaped hull design. This design is specifically engineered to provide excellent stability when stationary and reliable grip while navigating. The boat includes practical features such as two lateral rear seats with storage compartments, a modular bench, a self-bailing deck, and a 100-liter fuel tank.
“We are very happy to continue this partnership with Suzuki, which allows boaters to discover safe navigation,” says Samy Boubezai, naval architect and operational director of 3D Marine.
Suzuki Engine Options
Suzuki offers two engine options for this model: the DF70ATL and the DF100BLT. These engines are known for their compact and lightweight design, incorporating Offset technology and a maintenance-free chain-driven distribution system. They also feature sequential digital electronic fuel injection and Lean Burn technology.
The Lean Burn system allows the engines to operate with a leaner, more fuel-efficient mixture without sacrificing power. To minimize environmental impact, these engines are equipped with an O2 sensor. The streamlined lower unit, combined with high-efficiency propellers, contributes to increased top speed and reduced fuel consumption. Both engines have a reduction ratio of 2.59:1.
