SecureAI Conference to Address AI Security Challenges
Stockholm, Sweden – August 18, 2025 – The inaugural SecureAI conference will take place in Stockholm on September 23-24, 2025, at Nalen. This international conference will bring together leading experts, developers, and decision-makers from around the globe to tackle one of the most critical issues of our time: how to build and implement secure AI solutions.
SecureAI, founded by the creators of the established IT security conference SEC-T, aims to become a central hub for knowledge exchange in AI and security. With AI development progressing rapidly, the conference highlights the need for security to keep pace. “We’re seeing organizations rush into AI solutions without a strategy for security and reliability. It’s a mistake we can’t afford to repeat,” says Thomas Olofsson, one of the initiators.
Tobias Peyerl from OpenAI to Keynote This year’s keynote speaker is Tobias Peyerl, Head of Strategic Intelligence at OpenAI. Peyerl plays a key role in OpenAI’s global work on safety, risk, and strategy, holding one of the world’s most important jobs right now – ensuring that the company’s AI tools, such as ChatGPT, are developed responsibly. His presence underscores the critical importance of AI security.
Other international speakers include representatives from organizations such as Reddit, Huggingface, Accenture, SAP, FOI, and the Open Source movement. Some of the speakers include Jannika Törnqvist (Knowit), Shaun Smith (Huggingface), and Rachel Caisi Miller (Reddit).
SecureAI is a two-day event offering two tracks of in-depth technical lectures and discussions. The conference is aimed at anyone who wants to be at the forefront of implementing AI securely and promotes open dialogue and collaboration to strengthen Sweden’s and the Nordic region’s position in AI security.
