Grand Soleil 42 LC: A New Vision of Long-Distance Cruising

Grand Soleil Yachts has unveiled a fresh perspective on its Long Cruise range with a new campaign highlighting the Grand Soleil 42 LC. The imagery, bathed in Mediterranean light, captures the essence of this yacht: freedom and serenity. It embodies Grand Soleil’s promise of authentic cruising, blending passion and elegance.

This model, born from the Blue Water line, represents the spirit of long-distance voyages. The Italian shipyard has poured its expertise into creating a yacht with balanced volumes, exceptional finishes, and autonomy designed for extended journeys. It’s a concentrated dose of innovation that appeals to both seasoned sailors and those who appreciate beautiful design.

Two Versions, Two Approaches to Sailing

The Grand Soleil 42 LC is available in standard and sport versions, each offering a distinct take on marine comfort.

  • Standard Version: Features a safety arch that frees up the cockpit, creating a spacious deck ideal for long cruises. The open and inviting spaces promote easy movement onboard.
  • Sport Version: A more streamlined option, eliminating the arch and rear benches for a sleeker profile and a performance-oriented sailing experience.

Regardless of the version, the core philosophy remains the same: to combine aesthetics, stability, and sailing pleasure without compromise.

Design and Performance

Designed by Marco Lostuzzi, the 42 LC’s hull blends power and balance. Its generous volumes ensure remarkable stability, while a finely proportioned sail plan guarantees good speeds even in light winds.

Its elegant and fluid lines reflect the DNA of Cantiere del Pardo: Italian design that marries technical rigor with refined aesthetics. On board, everything is designed to make life at sea as pleasant as on land, with a clear deck, comfortable seating, smooth circulation, and flawless ergonomics.

Bright and Modular Interiors

Below deck, the atmosphere exudes comfort and quality. Nauta Design, responsible for the interior layout, has created a space bathed in natural light, where the choice of wood and colors creates a soft and contemporary ambiance.

Two versions are available: two or three cabins, both with two bathrooms. The salon revolves around a large three-seater sofa, the central seat of which can be transformed into a chart table. The L-shaped galley is equipped with a spacious refrigerator, with a second optional one, and plenty of storage to facilitate life at sea.

Conceived as a true floating apartment, the 42 LC impresses with its ability to combine well-being, functionality, and elegance.

Grand Soleil’s Vision

Through this new visual campaign, Grand Soleil reaffirms its ambition: to make the journey a complete experience.
