Sweden’s Best Managed Companies award, established by Deloitte in 2018, recognizes private Swedish companies that excel in four key areas: strategy, operational execution, culture, and governance. This year, 17 companies received the award, with Sigma Technology being one of the few to achieve Platinum status.

“We see this recognition not as an end point, but as confirmation of our chosen direction,” says Carl Vikingsson, CEO of Sigma Technology Group.

“It reflects our ability to evolve over time, guided by a shared ambition to be relevant and resilient in a constantly changing world.”

Sigma Technology has long been a top 3 provider in cloud services, digital transformation, product information, and embedded and software design. At the same time, the company has promoted inclusion and social benefit through initiatives such as collaborations with universities, the Young Talent program, and Femmegineering. With this strong foundation, the company is now expanding into new areas such as ERP consulting, CIO services, license management, digitization in warehousing and logistics, AI solutions, and digital product passports.

Carl Vikingsson adds:

“Innovation does not happen in isolation. It grows in the interaction between industries, technologies, and people. Therefore, we focus on connecting knowledge from our established areas with fast-growing areas such as AI and sustainable technology. It is in these meetings that new ideas arise, where real value is created – not only in what we deliver, but in how we collaborate across the organization. What I am most proud of is not only what we have achieved, but how. We have built a culture where people take responsibility, where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life, and where the willingness to lead is balanced with openness to listen and learn.”

“In a time when many talk about transformation, we implement it – every day, in teams, between different countries and industries. Platinum status means a lot. But most importantly, it confirms that our path, with common focus, curiosity, and responsible growth, is right.”

Sigma Technology’s commitment to being at the forefront, innovation, and sustainability has earned the company both the Best Managed Company award and a place as TOP 3 among Sweden’s best employers – which strengthens its reputation as a secure employer and stable partner in the technology sector.

“We are proud to present the award to these 17 companies, all of which demonstrate strong leadership, a clear strategic agenda, and well-functioning processes. Unlisted, private companies account for a large part of our workforce, our revenues, and a vibrant business community, and constitute an important building block in the Swedish economy. It is therefore extra fun to present the award for best managed companies to these entrepreneurs,” says Lina Thörn, partner at Deloitte and responsible for Best Managed Companies in Sweden. She continues:

“We would like to extend an extra big congratulations to our gold and platinum members who have received the award at least four and seven years in a row, respectively. It is inspiring to see so many of the companies continue to invest and measure themselves against the set goals.”
