Built in the early 2000s and opened in 2002, this 165-meter long and 45-meter high structure sits atop a cliff, giving the impression of a grounded cruise liner. Titanic Deluxe Lara, Turkey

As the name suggests, the Titanic Deluxe Lara near Antalya, Turkey, embodies the design of a cruise ship. The bow leads to a large swimming pool, creating the illusion of a ship about to set sail. This expansive resort covers over 950,000 m2 and includes 586 luxurious rooms. The 5-star hotel offers numerous activities, including 7 swimming pools and a water park, a private beach, and a kids’ club. A night’s stay costs approximately €528.

Burj al Arab, Dubai

The Burj al Arab is one of the world’s most iconic hotels. Its facade is shaped like a massive sail. Situated on an artificial island, this architectural marvel stands 321 meters tall and features suites on each of its 28 floors. The royal suite on the 25th floor is the hotel’s largest and most expensive, having hosted numerous celebrities. The hotel’s design is inspired by Dubai’s history as a port city. Hôtel le Belvédère du Rayon Vert, Cerbère, France

Opened in 1932 in Cerbère, France, the Hôtel le Belvédère du Rayon Vert was designed by architect Léon Baille. Designated a historical monument in 2002, it is one of the first reinforced concrete structures in the world. The building reflects the style of 1920s ocean liners, with rounded passageways, a roof terrace with stairs reminiscent of ship funnels, and a triangular shape with a stern. Originally intended for travelers awaiting visas to enter Spain, the hotel had a strategic location. It featured 30 rooms, now converted into apartments in the 1920s style. The Belvédère du Rayon Vert also serves as a performance venue, with a hall that can accommodate up to 150 people. A night’s stay in this historic hotel costs around €130.

The Sunborn Gibraltar is a mega-yacht transformed into a luxury hotel. This boat-hotel has never sailed, having been built specifically as a 5-star luxury yacht-hotel. Located in the heart of Ocean Village marina, it offers an ideal location in the center of Gibraltar. The yacht is 142 meters long and accommodates guests in 189 rooms. The hotel also features 2 swimming pools, a spa, a gym, and a gourmet restaurant. Depending on the time of year, a room costs a minimum of €195.
