Apreamare is set to make a splash at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, scheduled from January 17th to 25th, with a flagship model. The Italian shipyard will present the Gozzo 48 Cabin, a yacht that embodies the evolution of its iconic gozzo line, to the Northern European market for the first time. This strategic presence at a key international boat show underscores Apreamare’s ambition to connect with a global clientele beyond the Mediterranean.
Unveiled in 2025 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Gozzo 48 Cabin quickly garnered attention for its blend of elegant lines, generous volumes, and seaworthy performance. As a direct descendant of the traditional Sorrento gozzo, it retains the classic design cues while adapting them to contemporary yachting standards in terms of comfort and performance.
Design Collaboration and Craftsmanship
The development of the Gozzo 48 Cabin is the result of a close collaboration between renowned naval design experts. Marco Casali oversaw the exterior architecture and interior layouts, while Umberto Tagliavini handled the naval engineering, working closely with Apreamare’s technical department. Cataldo Aprea, president and founder of the shipyard, directed the entire project, ensuring the stylistic continuity and brand DNA.
With its spacious living areas and modular layouts, the Gozzo 48 Cabin is designed to offer a comfortable and seamless cruising experience. The yacht can be configured with two or three cabins, catering to various navigation preferences. This approach reflects Apreamare’s commitment to meeting the expectations of an international audience while preserving the timeless charm of Mediterranean yachting.
A Key Step in Apreamare’s Strategy
Apreamare’s return to Boot Düsseldorf with its new flagship highlights the shipyard’s current momentum. Founded in 1849 and owned by the Aprea and Pollio families, the brand continues to evolve while staying true to Sorrento’s nautical heritage. Since 2025, its integration into the Riello Investimenti SGR portfolio has supported this phase of growth and expansion in international markets.
