Perspetivo Uses AI to Ensure Inclusive Opinion Polls

Leveraging AI and target audience analysis, Perspetivo aims to ensure that no voices are left out in opinion polls. The platform identifies where different demographics – including young people and foreign-born individuals – are located and then markets its clients’ surveys directly to them.

“Currently, nearly 40 percent of the population is missing from surveys conducted in Sweden. This becomes a significant problem because the results can form the basis for decisions,” says Suzan Hourieh Lindberg, co-founder and CEO of Perspetivo.

This past spring, the company raised 10 million SEK to scale up operations in both the Nordic region and Europe.

“Many countries are interested in us, but Germany and the United Kingdom are particularly interesting right now. Just like here, they have a very heterogeneous population, which is not reflected in the statistics,” notes the CEO.

Since Suzan Hourieh Lindberg launched the platform in 2022, together with David Khabbazi, the company has raised a total of 15 million SEK. The recent funding round values the company at 50 million SEK and comes from the Singaporean venture capital firm Lotus One and Laura Sprechmann, former CEO of Nobel Prize Outreach. Previously, Toni Nijm from Yobi Partners and investment profile Cecilia Edström, among others, have invested in Perspetivo.

Last year, the survey company had a turnover of 2.6 million SEK, compared to just over one million in 2023, and incurred a loss of nearly 2.3 million SEK. When the books close this year, Suzan Hourieh Lindberg believes that turnover will reach 8 million SEK.

With international expansion, revenues will increase even more, the CEO believes. In three years, the company could be approaching a turnover of 100 million SEK.

“The market is very unsaturated. There isn’t really anyone doing what we do,” says the CEO, who adds that the company will likely reach profitability within a few months.

Today, Perspetivo has around 30 municipalities, real estate companies, and banks in its customer portfolio. Unlike other survey companies such as Novus and Verian, Perspetivo does not call its respondents. Instead, the company focuses on digital presence, data management, and automation.
