Intergiro Declared Bankrupt – Citigiro Has Established Contact With the Bankruptcy Trustee
Citigiro Seeks Solution for Intergiro Assets Following Bankruptcy
Citigiro has established contact with the bankruptcy trustee, lawyer Nils Åberg, with the aim of working towards a responsible and forward-looking solution. The goal is to give parts of Intergiro’s assets, particularly its technology, expertise, and customer relationships, a new chance within a more sustainable structure.
“We are well aware that Intergiro’s journey has been characterized by a complicated ownership structure and weak governance. However, we are also convinced that the company’s technical platform, product portfolio, and key personnel have not lost their relevance.”
“Fundamentally, we see this as an opportunity to free these assets from a history that has held them back for too long, and to create something new that better reflects the potential in what has actually been built up over the years,” says Gunnar Axén, Chairman of the Board of Citigiro Holding AB.
Front Ventures AB (Publ) currently owns approximately 40% of Citigiro Holding AB.
“Through our ownership position in Citigiro, we will work to ensure that the situation is handled with respect for employees, customers, and other stakeholders, and that the best possible outcome is achieved for all those affected,” says Johan Lund, CEO of Front Ventures AB (Publ).
