RaySearch Presents Advanced Software Solutions for Particle Therapy at PTCOG 63

RaySearch Showcases Latest Innovations at PTCOG 63 in Buenos Aires

RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) is exhibiting at PTCOG 63, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from June 3-6. The latest software innovations, driving advancements in particle therapy, will be showcased at booth #08.

RaySearch’s products – RayStation®, RayCare®, RayIntelligence®, and RayCommand® – continue to lead in transforming complex treatment systems into intelligent and adaptive solutions for cancer care.

Highlights in Particle Therapy

  • Proton arc therapy: Now in clinical use, with improved dose conformity that reduces the dose to surrounding organs.
  • Monte Carlo dose engine: Ultrafast, GPU-based dose calculation and optimization while maintaining accuracy.
  • Robust optimization: Integrated uncertainty management and comprehensive evaluation of treatment plans.
  • Upright patient positioning*: Supports workflows for fixed beam treatments, improving both patient comfort and the design of the care environment.

In addition to the above highlights, live demonstrations of more advanced features across the product portfolio will be offered, showcasing RaySearch’s commitment to smarter, safer, and more efficient radiation therapy.

Latest Innovations in RaySearch’s Systems

RayStation: The latest features will be showcased, including rapid adaptive replanning, upright patient positioning, expanded AI-driven image segmentation, and improved automated planning using both machine learning techniques and the latest technology in conventional automated dose planning algorithms*. Three new models for deep learning planning, a unique feature in RayStation, will be demonstrated, as well as the new automated dose planning algorithm ECHO. The algorithm was originally developed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA, and is now fully integrated into RayStation. A further highlight is the upgraded Plan Explorer module*, which offers a centralized place to investigate and compare treatment options between different modalities and dose planning strategies.

RayCare: The system’s transformative approach to oncology workflows will be demonstrated – how RayCare connects and orchestrates every step of the cancer treatment process. Key features include active workflows, high-level automation, close integration with RayStation and treatment machines, and advanced management of treatment progress, which together set a new standard for efficiency, coordination, and patient-centered care.

RayIntelligence will also be presented, a cloud-based analytics system for oncology that integrates with both RayStation and RayCare to group fragmented data into clear, decision-driving insights. Visitors can see dashboards that provide an overview of dose planning and the clinic’s treatment, as well as integration with external data sources, providing a comprehensive picture of clinical operations and system performance.

RaySearch will also present RayCommand, a treatment control system that links the treatment machine with the dose planning and oncology information systems, and µ-RayStation, a dose planning system for small animal research.

Visit us at booth #08 to learn how RaySearch is driving the development of the future of particle therapy.
