Roxette BidCo Acquires MedHelp in Cross-Border Transaction
Roxette BidCo has successfully acquired MedHelp, a Swedish technology company specializing in an AI-powered health platform for corporate clients. The transaction involved a cash offer of SEK 6.8 per share, valuing the total number of shares at approximately SEK 207 million.
“This transaction has been both complex and strategically significant, with a clear cross-border dimension between Finland and Sweden,” said Sten Olsson, lead partner on the deal. “It demonstrated our ability to guide our Finnish clients through the Swedish public-to-private process and positioning the business for long-term growth.”
MedHelp’s shares were previously listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market.
Johan Thiman, who co-led the Firm’s deal team, added: “It’s a great example of the collaborative strength of our multijurisdictional public takeovers offering, and the seamless coordination across markets that a transaction of this nature demands.”
Terveystalo Healthcare, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of Terveystalo Plc, plays a role in the acquisition. Terveystalo, a private healthcare provider in Finland and a leading provider of occupational healthcare services in both Finland and Sweden, employs approximately 15,000 people and is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. MH Sjukvårdsrådgivning Holding AB, MedHelp’s largest shareholder, provides primary medical care.
