Schneider Electric and Assemblin invest in simplifying electric car charging throughout the country.
Schneider Electric and Assemblin Partner to Expand Smart Charging Solutions in Sweden
Schneider Electric and Assemblin have formed a strategic partnership in eMobility to increase access to smart charging solutions for homes, businesses, and vehicle fleets. The goal is to accelerate the transition to electrified mobility in Sweden.
With over 94,000 new electric cars registered in Sweden in 2024, the demand for charging infrastructure is rapidly growing. This partnership combines Assemblin’s local presence and installation expertise with Schneider Electric’s technology, products, and eMobility certification programs.
“The partnership with Schneider Electric is a natural step in our commitment to offering the market’s most complete solutions for vehicle charging. With our strong presence and experience in technical installations, aftermarket services, and our own payment system, Assemblin Charge, we can create a powerful offering together with Schneider Electric that meets both current and future needs in the Swedish market,” says Fredrik Allthin, CEO of Assemblin.
The collaboration aims to accelerate the shift to electrified mobility by providing reliable, scalable, and sustainable charging solutions for residential, commercial, and fleet applications. Assemblin has already trained technicians and project managers to meet the requirements of Schneider Electric’s EcoXpert program, ensuring high-quality installations and services nationwide.
“This partnership is clear evidence of our strong relationship with Assemblin and will play a crucial role in our eMobility business in Sweden. The need for smart and scalable charging solutions is growing rapidly with the electrification of the transport sector. We are therefore very pleased and proud to be able to offer an effective and sustainable way forward,” says Catherine Caldefors, Sales Director for Power Products at Schneider Electric in Sweden.
As an eMobility EcoXpert partner with Schneider Electric, Assemblin is certified to deliver, install, and maintain Schneider Electric’s charging solutions for both AC and DC charging, meeting high standards of quality and competence. The certification provides access to comprehensive partner support, including technical training, product portfolio, support tools, and joint marketing efforts.
The new collaboration will be visible in joint marketing activities and projects, where both parties contribute their expertise to create future-proof solutions for charging both light and heavy vehicles.
